The provisions you have when you evangelize

Do you find yourself in fear when it comes to sharing the gospel with others? Are you afraid that you might have nothing to say? We need to be aware of the fact that witnessing can be scary. We need to understand that many of us Christians will cower away from our call, seeking other things to fulfill the void of that unused call. However, with God in our hearts we have nothing to worry about because all that we needs to get the job done is there for you and me, we just need to trust in God, knowing that he is the provider, and the Holy Spirit will guide us through it all. When we allow fear to overtake us, we allow cowardice and fearfulness to defeat His call in us. Christ is there within us and beside us, and He will take care of us. Therefore, we do not need to fear what others can do or how they respond to us. Rather, we are to concentrate on our character and call, and, with passion and conviction, share with others what Christ has done for us. Here are four key encouragements to help you through it all:

1. When you share the message of hope with others, you have got all the authority of heaven behind you. Jesus told His disciples that the authority in heaven and earth was given to Him, and He promised that he will always be with us until the end of the world. If we obey the command given to us by reaching out to the lost by sharing the message of Hope, then we know for sure that Heaven’s authority is behind us and always with us in everything we do. ( Mathew 28:16-20)

2. When you share the message of Hope, you don’t have to worry about what you’re going to say or when to say it because the Holy Spirit will guide you through it all. The Holy Spirit’s guidance is always there for you as promised by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  All you’ve got to do is to witness thoughtless, knowing that the spirit will provide for all that is needed. All the right words and conviction, the Holy Spirit will deal with it. The power to witness comes to us through the Holy Spirit as promised by our Lord Jesus Christ before he left this earth. (Acts 1:8)

 3. When you witness to others, let it be known that you are an instrument of reconciliation between God and man through Jesus Christ. Most Christians fear evangelizing and witnessing because of the possibility of rejection or of how friends and peers might perceive them. The role of evangelism, of saving people, is God's-and His alone. He chooses to use us for His glory; but it is His Spirit that convicts and converts. We are the tools, the rods and reels He uses. What a wonderful work it is to bring others back the house of their creator! Helping others to come to know Jesus is the best job ever you could wish for. As Jesus reconciled us to the father, we are also given the ministry of reconciling others back to God. (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)

4. As you share the gospel with others, know that you’ve got the key to unlock heaven doors so that sinners might enter in. If we share the gospel with lost souls we are opening heaven doors for them to enter into the kingdom of which we partake through Jesus Christ. You and I should be able to see the power we hold in our hands. If a soul is lost and we were present to help that soul come to Christ, we are to be blamed for shutting the heaven’s door on them.

Well, I hope these tips empower you as you pursue personal evangelism. Keep opening the heavenly doors for others to come in, help them join the glorious kingdom of God that you are already a part of.
