Words and Phrases to Avoid when talking to you spouse or relationship partner

One of the best parts about marriage is being so comfortable with your husband or wife that you can say just about anything to him/her. But if you don't watch your mouth, sometimes the ugly truth comes out in a hurtful way.  I’ve said it before and I will say it again, words hurt especially when used unwisely. Words hold great power. Think before you speak so that you need not have to be sorry later.

Good communication is the foundation of a solid relationship, and a spouse who not only talks but listens well to his or her partner will earn a stronger marriage for the effort.

Proverbs 18:21The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Matthew 12:36Men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken

Tongues can make marriages sweet, families strong, and churches healthy. Tongues can give hope to the despairing, advance understanding, and spread the gospel. We must make no mistake about it: our tongue, though one of the smaller parts of our body, is one of the most powerful forces for good or evil in our marriage.

To improve communication in your marriage, get the chance to listen to this podcast where I get a chance to share with you some of the words you should avoid in relationships especially in marriage. These are simple words but they can damage your relationships. It's important to avoid them especially when you are with your partner.
