Top 10 great truths I have learned about Evangelism

Here are the great truths I have learned through my evangelism experience. I have outlined some of them down here, you might like them, if you do them please do not hesitate in practicing them. I just hope that you will find them very helpful especially when you are out there sharing the message of Hope and saving souls that might perish forever. I call them my guidelines of Hope:

1. I can’t share what I don’t have. If I do not have Christ in my heart, then I do not have anything to share. It’s important for me to examine myself to know if I truly know Christ, and if He is truly the Savior and the Lord in my life before I can tell others about Him.

2. I now know that I am loved and protected when I witness for Him. He has promised that He will be with me until the end of times. He will be with me throughout my witnessing of His greatest name, He will never leave me.

3. I don’t have to worry about what I have to say, because He has promised that His spirit will guide me in what to say. It’s not my job, but the spirit’s to change the person’s life. I am just the medium that the Lord uses to save His people.

4. It’s my duty as a Christian to have a burdened heart for those who have not yet been saved. If I care for them, then I am obligated to the great commission. I cannot be a Christian and not share the wonderful message with others; this is what being a Christian is all about. Bringing others to the kingdom of God is what I am called to do.

5. I know now that as an evangelist I am commissioned to carrying out the message of salvation, I am protected when I share the greatest message, and all that I need is provided for. When I need to witness, all I need to accomplish the task has been provided for me. Evangelism is not only to be done in distant lands, but we must also teach those near us, our next door neighbors.   God will be with us as we teach His word to the lost.

6. Evangelizing is not something to wait for; it is designed to be carried as we go. Everywhere we are or we go, we are to share the message of the risen Christ with Joy and love. We are to care for others as we go, it is the hope we stand for.

7. It’s important to listen to others in order to know how to witness to them effectively. Now I understand how important it is to develop a listening mentality and developing illustrations to help others see the big picture before their own eyes.

8. I understand how important it is for me to get familiar with a certain culture in order to share the message of hope more easily with others. Not being familiar with a certain culture can stop us from being able to share the message of hope effectively.

9. I understand that it is important for me to develop a reapers mentality instead of always thinking negative. As I witness I will now face it with courage with assurance that the Lord would have provided the person just on the right time.

10. Being aware of evangelism myth helps me to see the big picture and the need to continue spreading the message of Hope to the world.

11. I understand the importance of me being of a noble family, and it’s my duty to act as a noble person when it comes to evangelism. I have got to share what my family has given.

I hope you get a chance to practice them as you go on evangelizing....

Because of His love, I am a secured package
